Seminar: Dengue fever and important considerations

In the rainy season, the weather conditions favor the development of mosquitoes, which is also the main factor leading to the widespread outbreak of dengue fever. In order to help students understand and prevent dengue fever, on the afternoon of June 16, 2023, the Student Affairs Office successfully organized a specialized seminar on "Dengue fever and important considerations" for over 100 students using the Zoom platform. The seminar was attended by Master's degree holder and Specialist Doctor Tran Minh Hoang, a lecturer in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, currently working at the Tropical Diseases Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. During the seminar, the doctor shared the signs of recognition, the causative agents of the disease, the diagnostic methods, and preventive measures against dengue fever. It is certain that after listening to these insights and practical knowledge shared by the speaker, who has many years of experience in teaching and treating infectious diseases, the students have gained a better understanding and more knowledge to prevent the complex development of dengue fever.
