Topic: "Music to Release Emotions"

For a long time, music has been considered a useful way to help people release emotions and reduce stress; At the same time, it is an indispensable spiritual food in daily life, affecting the formation and development of body and soul as well as helping each person to have a sublime emotion, love their life, be more active and creative.
With the desire to help students use music as a way to prevent and eliminate emotional stress, develop a rich spiritual life; On November 28, 2022, the Student Affairs Department in collaboration with the VMC Center for Health Care and Education, organized the topic "Music to Release Emotions." The seminar was held online via Zoom and attracted more than 800 students to participate. During a period of 90 minutes, reporter Doan Mai Hong, a lecturer at VMC, shared with students the value of music for health and spiritual life, how to choose and use music to release emotions, and especially how to use body instruments and surrounding objects to create music to help reduce stress, eliminate negative emotions, and increase happiness. With more than 13 years of teaching experience along with a simple, friendly and easy to understand style of communication, Ms. Mai Hong has inspired and loved music for students, helping them to gain more knowledge and understanding how to choose music as a healthy tool for dealing with negative emotions.
