Seminar "Safe and civilized use of social networks"

Within the framework of "Citizen - Student Activity Week" in the 2023 - 2024 school year, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a seminar on "Safe and civilized use of social networks" for all new students of course 27 on September 20, 2023.

The keynote speaker is Master Duong Trong Phuc - Vice Principal, Ly Tu Trong Union School. At the program, students were given detailed instructions on using social networks safely and civilized; At the same time, equipped students with skills to effectively exploit and use information on social networks to serve research, study and build positive relationships on digital platforms.
  The seminar took place in an exciting atmosphere with enthusiastic and energetic guidance from the reporter, especially through solving real-life situations. Students saw the positive and negative aspects of social networks, including false information that causes public confusion and negatively affects social stability. For that reason, students must be very alert when using social networks, comply with the provisions of the Cyber Security Law and seriously practice the Code of Conduct on social networks.
The topic has equipped students with knowledge and skills to be able to self-train and improve their self-awareness in using social networks safely and effectively, contributing to building a healthy online environment in Viet Nam.
