Seminar "The value of politeness"

Politeness is one of the basic moral standards in the system of human moral standards, the foundation of good personality. This is also one of the 5 characteristics that identify TDTU students: Discipline, Politeness, Professionalism, Creativity, and Service. Therefore, the School always focuses on organizing activities as well as building a cultural environment to create conditions for students to practice politeness, especially for new students who have just entered the school.
On September 19, 2023, the school organized the topic "The value of politeness" for new students with the participation of Doctor Nguyen Lan Hai. With a humorous introduction, Doctor Nguyen Lan Hai shared useful knowledge about the value of politeness and civilized behavior in school from the smallest things such as polite greetings and polite gestures with teachers, elders and everyone around.

Through stories, the reporters helped students understand that, although politeness is very simple, this is a sign of noble personality, peaceful attitude, guiding people to the values of Truthfulness - Compassion - Beauty and rich in kindness. The seminar brought many valuable lessons to TDTU students, gave them more motivation to promote self-discipline in implementing daily habits of polite behavior, contributing to spreading a good image of Ton Duc Thang University students in particular and Vietnamese students in general.
Besides this activity, the school built a civilized environment for students to practice every day such as queuing culture, not littering, saying nice words, and respecting friends. Because "polite culture" does not lie in black and white paper regulations, but in perseverance and setting an example anytime, anywhere to create good habits in each of us.
