Topic "Understanding yourself - Enhancing identity"

On the morning of December 11, 2024, at Hall 6M, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University organized the topic "Understanding yourself - Enhancing identity" attracting more than 300 students to participate.

At the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan - Founder of Reflective Learnings, author of the book "Study Sure, Think Fast, Succeed Early" led the audience through deep reflections on the meaning of understanding oneself and how to build personal identity. According to him, understanding oneself does not come from a general formula or fixed theory, but is a journey of continuous discovery. In that journey, each person needs to proactively create opportunities to experience and learn. Challenges, whether big or small, are tests that help us gradually realize what truly inspires our passion and strength within us. When we dare to step out of our comfort zone, face difficulties and accumulate experience, we will increasingly understand what we want, what we need and what is most suitable for us.

The sharing session became more interesting with questions from students, all of whom expressed their desire to receive guidance in developing themselves, choosing a suitable career and building a strong personal identity. The questions clearly reflected their concerns about the future, thereby demonstrating the strong need of students to find specific directions to confidently move forward on their career path.

The seminar ended with a meaningful message: each person has a unique and distinct identity. To let that identity shine, we need to be brave enough to face ourselves, accept our shortcomings and constantly develop.

Hopefully, after this seminar, each student will continue their journey of self-discovery in a deeper way, dare to expand their limits and persevere on the path to conquering their goals. In that journey, even when facing difficulties, you will always believe that you can rise up and affirm your value in life.
