Topic "Understanding yourself to liberate"

On November 7, 2024, at Hall 10F, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University organized a sharing session with the participation of Dr. Bui Tran Phuong, Former Principal of Hoa Sen University, Former Vice President of the Association of Non-Public Universities, and honored in the Top 20 Most Influential Women in Vietnam in 2017.

In this sharing session, Ms. Phuong introduced the values of liberal education, focusing on developing students' critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This is an educational philosophy that helps learners overcome the barriers of narrow thinking, opening up multi-dimensional perspectives and an open mind to the issues of life and society. In addition, Ms. Phuong helps students understand more deeply the importance of "understanding oneself to be liberal" to become an independent, autonomous, free, happy person, and at the same time a responsible person of the social community.

Here, students have the opportunity to directly ask questions and discuss concerns about liberal education and its significance in shaping personal identity. From the questions, Ms. Phuong answered them specifically and helped students have methods to open their minds and unleash their own potential.
The topic "Understanding yourself to be liberal" is a meaningful topic in equipping students with core educational values, aiming to create a comprehensive and healthy learning environment, aiming at sustainable development in each individual. The topic is a valuable opportunity for students to learn from the profound sharing of the reporter and is also an opportunity to cultivate the spirit of liberalization, building a solid foundation for the future.
