CHEERLEADING CLUB

1. INTRODUCTION

- The Cheerleading Club of Ton Duc Thang University was established on September 20^th, 2011 and is named STONE. It was founded by a team of students who love sports and especially Cheerleading. Stone was established in order to become a professional team which represented the team and the university to join cultural, sports, exchange and entertainment events of the university, the region and the whole country. Therefore, Stone is not an established sports team with the intention of expanding into a purely physical fitness club.

- Initially, the team included only about 10 cheerleaders, with difficult training conditions - in the park, or on the rooftop of the university and without any financial support. But these obstacles did not stop the burning passion and the desire for future victory and success. Difficulties do not stop the youth. The flame of passion was increasingly replicated, gradually more members were recruited. More and more students enroll each year. The focus is on bringing sports in general and Cheerleading in particular close to the people and training future dynamic, tough and healthy Cheerleaders.

When they join Stone, as well as Cheer, they are with very good and serious practice, physically and spiritually. This is because it is a dangerous sport that needs senses of adventure, courage, concentration, carefulness and a high team spirit. Each member of Stone- every Cheerleader, possesses a tough and energetic body, an especially strong spirit and are not afraid to challenge things which are not available for everyone.
