According to Decision No. 66/2013/QĐ-TTg dated November 11, 2013, by the Prime Minister on policies supporting study expenses for ethnic minority students studying at higher education institutions, and Joint Circular No. 35/2014/TTLT-BGDĐT-BTC dated October 15, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of Decision No. 66/2013/QĐ-TTg:

2. Support Amount: Students eligible for learning cost support shall follow the provisions of Prime Minister’s Decision No. 66/2013/QĐ-TTg dated November 11, 2013.

Eligible students only need to submit the application once for the entire course of study.
However, students from poor or near-poor households must submit updated household certification at the beginning of each semester for continued tuition exemption/reduction and study expense support. -
Study expense support is provided for up to 10 months per academic year, and only within the standard program duration.

Students who drop out or are expelled will not receive support from the effective date of the disciplinary decision.

Students temporarily suspended (except for reasons such as illness, accidents, retaking courses, or other valid reasons confirmed by the university) will not receive support during the suspension period.

Once the university receives funding from the state budget, a notification will be published on the Student Information System.
