I. About Us

The Department of Student affairs (DESA) is a functional unit of the University, responsible for student support, management, and development. The Department promotes five core student values: Discipline; Polite; Professional; Creativity; Devotion.

Key activities include scholarships and awards, cultural and sports events, youth development, high school outreach, and managing the course "Essential Skills for Sustainable Development" The Office strives to create a dynamic, friendly, and culturally rich environment for students.

II. Function and Mission

1. Function

  • Advise the University Board of Presidents on policies and directives related to political and ideological education; event organization, culture, arts, and sports activities; development and management of student databases and welfare policies; and youth affairs.
  • Manage graduate students in accordance with assigned responsibilities.
  • Organize moral education programs for students based on the University's three-part ethical education framework: academic excellence as a form of filial piety, discipline and compliance, and a spirit of collective and community service.
  • Provide consultation to the Board of Presidents on skill development programs and outreach activities with affiliated high schools.

2. Mission

  • Political and ideological education; moral education for students based on the University's Three-Part Moral Education Program.

  • Organization of events, cultural and artistic activities, and sports programs.

  • Development and management of student databases, evaluation of student conduct, and implementation of student welfare policies.

  • Youth affairs and student union activities.

  • Management of graduate students and doctoral candidates.

  • Organization of essential skills training for sustainable development for students.

  • Outreach and partnerships with affiliated high schools.
