More than 300 TDTU students learn how to be confident and professionalize themselves in the topic "Shaping personal style"
In the context of increasingly competitive study and work, building a professional, confident and polite personal style is becoming an essential soft skill for young people. In order to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills, on the afternoon of April 8, 2025, at Hall 6M, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University organized the topic "Shaping Personal Style", attracting more than 300 students from many different faculties and majors.

The program featured speaker Nguyen Le Hai Dang - Deputy Director of Strategy & External Relations of Smartland Company. With many years of experience in the field of personal branding and professional communication, Mr. Hai Dang brought practical, easy-to-understand and close sharing, helping students broaden their thinking and better understand the importance of shaping their own image in study and work. During more than two hours, students learned and practiced many practical contents such as: correct standing and sitting posture, polite communication rules, listening skills and subtle behavior in social situations. Not only stopping at theory, the program also integrated vivid practice exercises, helping learners immediately apply the skills they had just learned.

One of the important parts of the program is the rules of polite communication, including how to show politeness in communication, how to choose the right words in every situation and listening skills to build a strong connection with the other person. Through simulation situations, students understand that a firm handshake, sympathetic eyes and a clear, concise introduction are important factors to create a good impression in the first meeting - indispensable skills in recruitment interviews or professional communication activities.

The topic “Shaping Personal Style” ended with many positive emotions from the participating students. The program not only provided knowledge, but also inspired each TDTU student to be more aware of building their own image - a neat, confident, polite image with its own identity in the journey of studying, working and in every step of life.
