Topic “The Power of Adaptation” – Equipping students with the courage to stand firm in the face of change

With the goal of equipping students with the necessary thinking and skills to adapt in the context of constantly changing society, technology and the labor market, on the afternoon of May 9, 2025, at Hall 6M, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University organized a skills seminar with the theme "The Power of Adaptation", attracting the participation of more than 500 students from many faculties throughout the school.

Opening the topic, Ms. Tran Thi Thu - Human Resources Director of Sika Vietnam Limited Company emphasized that adaptation is not a passive reaction but the ability to proactively accept new things, overcome challenges and develop oneself. This is a factor that businesses pay special attention to when recruiting the young generation of workers.

Continuing the program, Ms. Pham Ngoc Tu - Head of Human Resources Department of Jones Lang LaSalle Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared about the role of technology in supporting the adaptation process of employees in the digital working environment. Change is inevitable, young people need to maintain a lifelong learning mindset to avoid being left behind.
Finally, Ms. Pham Ngoc Thanh Mai - Head of Human Resources Department of Konecranes Material Handling Vietnam Co., Ltd. emphasized that adaptability is not an innate quality but can be completely trained, if each person maintains a progressive spirit and is willing to step out of their comfort zone.
The atmosphere of the program became more exciting during the exchange and Q&A session between students and speakers. Many questions revolving around the difficulties of changing the working environment, how to practice flexibility in thinking, as well as personal development orientation in a context of many fluctuations were raised and received enthusiastic and sincere answers from the guests.
