New students of Course 29 behave civilly on social networks
In the digital age, social networks have become an indispensable part of the lives of the young generation. Not only a place to update news, study, entertain or connect with friends, the online space is also a "mirror" reflecting the personality, bravery and civilization of each individual. However, along with the conveniences come many challenges. Therefore, equipping students with behavioral and communication skills on social networks has become an urgent requirement, so that the young generation can truly become brave and responsible digital citizens.
With that spirit, during the Citizenship and Student Activities Week of the 2025 - 2026 school year, on September 8, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University organized a seminar on "Code of conduct and communication in the digital environment" for new students of Course 29. This is one of the extracurricular activities in the series of programs to Improve digital capacity for learners of Ton Duc Thang University in the 2025 - 2026 school year.

In the sharing part, Dr. Dao Le Hoa An emphasized the core skills for students to become civilized digital citizens. First of all, choosing appropriate words and images, because politeness and standards in expression are the measure of young people's behavioral culture. Second, the ability to respond positively, handle conflicts flexibly, and turn differences into opportunities for understanding. Third, the awareness of protecting personal data, limiting the sharing of private information to avoid the risk of fraud or privacy infringement. Last but not least, is spreading positive values on social networks. A word of encouragement, an official source of information, or a kind act online can all contribute to building a safe online community.

According to Dr. Dao Le Hoa An, the virtual world and real life are not separate, but always reflect and reflect each other. Therefore, the way students behave on social networks is a representative image of their personality, character and the learning environment they are attached to. This message has created a strong consensus. Many students shared that from now on they will be more careful in every post and every comment.

It can be said that the topic "Code of conduct and communication in the digital environment" has brought you not only knowledge, but also a lesson in responsibility. Responsibility for yourself, for the TDTU student community and for society. From there, each of you can confidently assert your abilities and integrate with the world in the digital age.
From today, new students of Ton Duc Thang University will embark on a new journey, carrying with them valuable knowledge, skills and attitudes, ready to shine in the school environment and in the global digital space.
