In 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) allocates more than VND 80 billion in scholarships to learners with a variety of scholarships and formats, including the following types:
- 100% Tuition Fee Scholarship for the 2025 - 2026 Academic Year:
- Valedictorian Scholarship: For newly admitted students with the highest admission scores.
- Scholarship for new students from provinces that have signed cooperation agreements with TDTU: For students who meet TDTU’s scholarship criteria from provinces with comprehensive cooperation agreements with the University (Binh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Lam Dong, Quang Ngai).
- Scholarship for new students from high schools that have signed cooperation agreements with TDTU: For students from high schools that have signed cooperation agreements with TDTU and meet the scholarship criteria of each semester.
- Scholarship for new students who are ranked as Excellent/Good from specialized or key high schools: Students who are ranked Excellent/Good for three years at specialized or key high schools and meet TDTU’s scholarship criteria.
- Scholarship for English-taught undergraduate programs: 100% of new students enrolled in English-taught undergraduate programs are granted scholarships when meeting TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for international joint training programs: 100% of new students enrolled in international joint training programs are granted scholarships when meeting TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for majors with enrollment incentive policies: 100% of new students in the following incentivized majors are granted scholarships, including:
- Social Work
- Environmental Engineering Technology
- Environmental Science
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Regional and Urban Planning
- Transportation Construction Engineering
- Sports Management – Golf major
- Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering – Semiconductor IC Design major
- Scholarship for students who are the first generation in their family to attend university: New students who are the first in their family to attend university and are admitted to incentivized majors will be considered for scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for students from VFIS applying to TDTU: Students who have completed Grade 12 at VFIS and are admitted to TDTU while meeting TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for students who have won awards in national or international excellent student contests and national or international science and technology competitions: Students with high achievements in national or international contests will be considered for scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for students who are biological children of teachers from high schools that have signed cooperation agreements with Ton Duc Thang University: Students who are biological children of teachers from high schools that have signed cooperation agreements and studied at those high schools will be considered for scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions.
- Encouragement scholarship for female students in engineering majors: 100% of female students in the following engineering majors will be granted encouragement scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
- Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering – Semiconductor IC Design major
- Automation and Control Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Transportation Construction Engineering
- Regional and Urban Planning
- Occupational Safety and Health
- Environmental Engineering Technology
- TDTU – Student Empowerment Scholarship: Students who overcome difficulties and study well are granted support scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions.
- Scholarship for students at the Branch Campus: 100% of new students studying at Khanh Hoa Branch Campus will be considered for scholarships according to TDTU’s conditions.
- Other types of scholarships:
- Scholarships for siblings studying at TDTU
- Scholarships for children or siblings of trade union officials
- Scholarships for students with disabilities and in difficult circumstances
- Scholarships for new students with high English proficiency upon entry
- Scholarships for students residing in the dormitory
