Discussion about “Perspectives of University Leaders on Student Management”

On the afternoon of July 9th, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Discussion about "Perspectives of University Leaders on Student Management".

150 delegates from 60 universities and 35 colleges in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) participated in discussing student management and education models.

Opening Ceremony of the Military Semester of the Academic Year 2019-2020

On the morning of July 5th, 2020, 106 students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and lecturers of the Center for National Defense and Security Education celebrated the Opening Ceremony of the Military Semester.

As planned, each year TDTU organizes 2 Military Semesters (in Semester 1 and Summer Semester) for students to attend all educational programs at TDTU.

Enterprises Bid for Designs of Ton Duc Thang University Students

According to the Organizer of the “Hoa Mai 2019-2020” Wooden Interior Designs Competition, Student Quach Minh Quan, majoring in Interior Design of the Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), won the Second Prize of the Promising Round  with the work “Minnaar Chair”.

Annoucement regarding the extended suspension of face-to-face learning at the TDTU campuses for students until the end of March 29th, 2020

Based on the complicated movements of the COVID-19 epidemic recently in Vietnam and other countries in the world; in order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, ensure the health and safety for the community, TDTU now notifies as followings:

Lecturers and students of Cornell University, USA visited, studied and exchanged culture at Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions.

From January 3 to January 16, 2020, Cornell University's delegation of lecturers and students includes 01 Associate Dean for Finance, Administration and Corporate Relations in the ILR School, 02 Lecturers, 02 Teaching assistant and 06 students visited, studied and exchanged culture at Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions. 

Regarding the extended suspension of face-to-face learning at the TDTU campuses for students until the end of 8th Mar 2020

Based on the current situation in the District 7, Ho Chi Minh City and the complicated movements of the Covid-19 epidemic in the past week for countries around the world; in order to prevent the spread of the epidemic, ensure the health and safety for the community, TDTU now notifies as followings:

Twelfth Grader conducting scientific research published in an ISI Journal under the supervision of an expert from Ton Duc Thang University

Ms. Minh Khue Dao Ngoc, a Grade 12 student specialized in Biology of Le Quy Đon High School for the Gifted, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, was a co-author of the article entitled “Prediction of AChE-ligand Affinity using Umbrella Sampling Simulation” under the supervision  of an expert from Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Global Champions Competition 2019

On January 12, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) collaborated with Golden Path Academics Vietnam Joint Stock Company (GPA) to organize the Global Champions competition for the academic year 2019-2020 with the theme "The Time Travelers". There were 960 students aged 9 to 16 who come from Junior High Schools, International High Schools, Schools for the Gifted and Key Schools in the Southern region.

La Trobe University students’ experience at Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of 2 December 2019, students of La Trobe University, Australia led by Dr. Tommy Huynh and Dr. Khoa Phan, Lecturer of the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences participated in a two-week short-term exchange program to experience the educational environment at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Job Fair at Ton Duc Thang University

On 29 November 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Ton Duc Thang University Job Fair 2019 (TDTU Job Fair 2019).

There were 85 stalls of 75 businesses together with governmental representatives in Ho Chi Minh City, professional associations and employment service centers, infrastructure companies in export-processing zones and industrial zones, and foreign-invested enterprises. Many of the participants are friendly partners and nearly 4,000 TDTU graduates, as well as seniors, joined to meet with businesses and seek job opportunities for work and internships.
