Global Champions Competition 2019

On January 12, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) collaborated with Golden Path Academics Vietnam Joint Stock Company (GPA) to organize the Global Champions competition for the academic year 2019-2020 with the theme "The Time Travelers". There were 960 students aged 9 to 16 who come from Junior High Schools, International High Schools, Schools for the Gifted and Key Schools in the Southern region.

La Trobe University students’ experience at Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of 2 December 2019, students of La Trobe University, Australia led by Dr. Tommy Huynh and Dr. Khoa Phan, Lecturer of the School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences participated in a two-week short-term exchange program to experience the educational environment at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

Job Fair at Ton Duc Thang University

On 29 November 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Ton Duc Thang University Job Fair 2019 (TDTU Job Fair 2019).

There were 85 stalls of 75 businesses together with governmental representatives in Ho Chi Minh City, professional associations and employment service centers, infrastructure companies in export-processing zones and industrial zones, and foreign-invested enterprises. Many of the participants are friendly partners and nearly 4,000 TDTU graduates, as well as seniors, joined to meet with businesses and seek job opportunities for work and internships.

Students in the Faculty of Sports Science organize an online talk show

On the evening of October 28, the Faculty of Sports Science (FSS), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a talk show with the topic called, Quang Bao: Breakthrough From Sports, live streaming on social networking Facebook. The guest was MC Quang Bao, a famous figure in sports achievement.

This is part of the Sport Communication course of FSS, implemented by the faculty in collaboration with Saigon Tourist Cable TV Company (SCTV). SCTV experts have provided advice and direct instruction on techniques, images and scripts for FSS students to practice at TDTU Film Studio.

Creative Language Center holds Debate Competition in English

On October 22nd, 2019, Creative Language Center (CLC) at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the final round of its Debate Competition in English at the school level to find representatives of TDT University in 2020 World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC 2020) in Thailand in December 2019.

WUDC is the biggest academic debate competition for university students in the world. Every year, it attracts around 400 competing teams that make up nearly 1000 competitors from every continent in the world.

Orientation activities for international students at the beginning of the Academic Year 2019 - 2020

On the morning of October 18th, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University's College of International Studies (TDTU) organized an orientation for the new international students applying for long-term undergraduate programs at TDTU.

Program "The Next Banker" at Ton Duc Thang University

On the morning of October 19th, 2019, Faculty of Finance and Banking of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in cooperation with Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) organized the program "The Next Banker" at Tan Phong Campus. More than 100 students from Finance and Banking major attended.

"The Next Banker" is a business-to-business exchange program developed by ACB with the purpose of creating opportunities for students to experience their work, apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in practice.

The National Institute of Development Administration of Thailand visited Ton Duc Thang University

On the afternoon of October 20th, 2019, the delegation including lecturers and students of Graduate School of Tourism Management of the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), Thailand, led by Prof. Suwaree Ashton paid a visit and had a cultural exchange at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU)

The program includes many activities such as participating in team-building games, visiting the educational environment and learning about students’ lives at TDTU.

Folk Music Night at Ton Duc Thang University

On the evening of October 11th, 2019, more than 1,400 students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) immersed themselves in the music space of the Folk-Art Performance Program: a tradition that intangibly represents the cultural heritage of Vietnam and larger humanity.
