On the morning of July 11, 2025, in front of the Monument of Uncle Ton, the staff of the Student Affairs Department together with the teachers and staff of the Student Affairs Department of the Faculties/Branch offered flowers and incense to President Ton Duc Thang - an exemplary leader, a staunch communist, a shining example of revolutionary morality who fought and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, building and defending the Fatherland. This is a sacred moment for each heart to turn to President Ton Duc Thang with infinite gratitude.
Topic “Domestic and international news and issues to note in the work of grasping, educating and managing students”
On this occasion, the Student Affairs Department successfully organized a training session on “Domestic and international news and issues to note in the work of grasping, educating and managing students”.
The program had the participation of Dr. Vu Trung Kien - Deputy Head of the Department of Party Building, Regional Political Academy II - as a reporter. On the side of Ton Duc Thang University, the training session was honored to welcome Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son - Vice Principal of the University, Master Dang Thi Kim Anh - Head of the Student Affairs Department and teachers who are student affairs officers from the units.
In an open and professional atmosphere, Dr. Vu Trung Kien shared outstanding domestic and international news, and deeply analyzed issues that directly affect student management and education in the current period. Teachers attending the event exchanged, discussed and had specific answers to questions and practical situations encountered during their work.
The training session ended in a friendly and respectful atmosphere. This was an opportunity for the student affairs staff to connect, share experiences, and at the same time be equipped with more useful knowledge and skills, contributing to improving their capacity in understanding psychology, orienting thoughts and managing students effectively, suitable for the new situation.

Also within the framework of the program, the second topic with the topic "Orientation for developing student work plans for Faculties/Branch for the 2025-2026 school year" was organized to exchange, discuss and agree on key contents in student management and support at Ton Duc Thang University. The topic was chaired and shared by Ms. Dang Thi Kim Anh - Head of Student Affairs Department, attracting the attention and active participation of teachers in charge of student work at Faculties/Branch.
In a friendly and open atmosphere, the exchange recorded many constructive comments, reflecting the reality at the units, and at the same time proposing practical solutions for the new school year. This is considered an important preparation step, demonstrating the School's initiative and commitment to creating a comprehensive learning and development environment for students, towards an effective and memorable 2025-2026 school year.
Field trip to Binh Dong Communal House, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City - A historical site associated with the revolutionary activities of Uncle Ton
In the afternoon of the same day, the teachers had a field trip to Binh Dong Communal House, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City - a historical site associated with the revolutionary activities of President Ton Duc Thang.
Through this activity, teachers not only learned and reviewed valuable documents about Uncle Ton's life and career, but also deeply imbued with the historical values, ethics and spirit of service that he left behind. This is also a special occasion for the student affairs staff to be more proud and aware of their responsibilities while working and contributing at the school named after President Ton Duc Thang. In addition, the tour is also an opportunity for members to exchange, connect and share experiences in their work. The spirit of solidarity, companionship and humane values strongly spread in the training program will become a positive source of motivation in the journey to build a humane and modern educational environment at TDTU.
