TDTU students improve their legal knowledge
In modern life, with the strong development of technology and changes in society, young people in general and students in particular are faced with many opportunities to learn, experience and assert themselves. However, opportunities always come with challenges. In particular, understanding the law and living in accordance with legal standards is an important foundation for each student to grow up firmly and avoid regrettable mistakes.
In order to help new students identify risks early and equip them with safe living skills, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the topic "Preventing violations of the law among students" during the Citizen - Student Activities Week of the 2025 - 2026 school year on September 9, 2025. The event attracted the participation of many new students of Course 29, young and enthusiastic faces, preparing to embark on the journey of learning and training at university.
Accompanying the students in the topic was Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dao Minh Huy - Senior Specialist, Staff Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police. With many years of practical experience, the reporter brought to the new students both familiar and highly warning sharing.

Through specific examples, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dao Minh Huy pointed out that even everyday actions, such as sharing false information on social networks, participating in online gambling or violating traffic safety, can become violations if students lack understanding. These seemingly harmless "traps" can have serious consequences, directly affecting the individual, family and society.

What made the seminar practical and meaningful was that it did not stop at warnings. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dao Minh Huy shared with new students important skills: how to identify and avoid bad information on cyberspace; standard and civilized behavioral skills when participating in collective activities and in social relationships; awareness of law compliance from the smallest actions, such as following traffic laws, respecting public property or knowing how to say "no" to temptations from wrongdoings. Looking back at the seminar, it can be seen that this is a journey to sow awareness, nurture a sense of responsibility and affirm the bravery of TDTU students. More than just adding knowledge, this is a reminder of the duties of youth: to live with knowledge, discipline and responsibility for oneself, family and society.
