Student Start-up

On the morning of April 11, 2019 the seminar on "Student Start-up" took place at Hall 6B, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU). The speaker was Ms. Truong Ly Hoang Phi, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Young Entrepreneurs Association. 

According to the speaker, the first phase of starting a business is always difficult, even leading to a failure. However, these difficulties help people gain more experience and practical knowledge. Discovery ability, confidence, knowing how to set goals and build principles to achieve the goals are "materials" to help start a business successfully, of which discovery – creation is considered the most important. The problem is how to have discovery-creativity. Is it an inner quality or must it be trained?

This question is not answered directly, but during the talk, when students had a chance to meet successful start-ups, listened to their failures and efforts, everyone realized that a successful entrepreneurial opportunity is for anyone who has aspiration.

Also in the program, the Organizing Committee launched the Start-up Wheel 2019 Contest, which is organized by the Business Start-up Support Center (BSSC) with the purpose of stimulating entrepreneurial aspirations in young people, especially students.
