Students from Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialized High School in Vinh Long province experienced "4 hours as a TDTU trainee student"
On March 29, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a "4 Hours as a University Intern" experience program for students of Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialized High School in Vinh Long province. The program was implemented to provide high school students with an early opportunity to experience a modern university environment, thereby better shaping their academic and career paths, and preparing them for the future.
In the context of high school seniors increasingly focusing on majors, training environments, and career orientations, the "University Intern" program is considered a meaningful practical experience, helping students not only learn through theory but also directly experience the real learning environment at a university. This is also an opportunity for students to get closer to their university dreams through authentic and vivid experiences.
From the moment they arrived at TDTU, students from Nguyen Binh Khiem High School for the Gifted had the opportunity to tour the university's modern, clean, green, and inspiring campus. During their experience, they learned about the comprehensive and modern facilities that support learning, scientific research, and the holistic development of students.
One of the stops that particularly attracted the students' attention was the Inspirational Library. With its modern design, diverse study areas, and rich resources, the library is not only a place for learning but also a creative space that encourages self-study, research, and the development of proactive thinking among students. Many students expressed their delight at directly experiencing the open, professional, and dynamic learning environment there.
In addition, students had the opportunity to tour the lecture halls, functional classrooms, self-study areas, and student living areas, as well as learn more about the university's training programs. Through presentations from TDTU representatives, students gained access to useful information related to training programs, learning environments, extracurricular activities, international study opportunities, and essential skills for adapting to the modern university environment.
Beyond focusing on academic activities, the program also helped students gain a clearer understanding of TDTU's holistic development environment through tours of the university's modern sports facilities. The FIFA 2-star standard football stadium and the multi-purpose gymnasium left a strong impression on the students. These facilities not only host sports activities and physical training but also contribute to building a dynamic educational environment, helping students develop comprehensively in terms of intellect, skills, and health.
