Special topic: "Self-care for mental health in the online space"

On the morning of April 23, 2026, at Hall 6M, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a workshop on "Self-Care for Mental Health in the Online Space," attracting over 500 students. The program aimed to raise students' awareness of the importance of mental health in the digital age and equip them with the necessary skills to develop positive, safe, and healthy social media habits.

Accompanying the program was Ms. Phan Tuong Yen, M.Sc. With her approachable, gentle, and practical sharing style, the speaker provided students with many meaningful perspectives on mental health, how to identify invisible pressures in the online space, as well as methods for regulating emotions and building healthy social media habits.

Besides providing knowledge, the program also offers many practical and easy-to-apply suggestions to help students proactively build balance in their daily lives. From controlling social media usage time and maintaining positive habits to creating necessary breaks to recharge mental energy, everything is shared in a relatable and accessible way.

The program atmosphere became more open through the interaction and exchange between the speakers and participating students. Many practical questions related to academic pressure, feelings of imbalance from social media use, and how to overcome negative thoughts were asked and received sincere sharing from the speakers. Through this, students not only received useful advice but also felt supported, listened to, and understood.
