Notably, new types of drugs can be disguised in various forms, making them difficult to identify with the naked eye. Offers to try these substances, products of unknown origin, and solicitations via social media also pose potential risks to young people.
Through specific scenarios, students are taught how to recognize warning signs, proactively decline offers, and handle situations involving potential exposure to drugs or addictive substances. These practical skills help students enhance their ability to protect themselves within the school environment and in their daily lives.

TDTU is one of the higher education institutions collaborating with the Ho Chi Minh City Police to implement the “Drug-Free School” model. The university regards drug prevention and control as an ongoing priority, integral to fostering a safe, healthy, and civilized educational environment.
When individuals are conscious and informed, the school environment gains an additional layer of protection. Students not only proactively say “no” to drugs but also become active advocates, spreading healthy and responsible lifestyles to their peers, families, and the community.
Through this initiative, TDTU continues to implement practical measures to build “Drug-Free Schools,” helping to safeguard the health and futures of students while joining hands to create a safe educational environment—working towards a civilized, healthy, and drug-free Ho Chi Minh City.
