Politeness – The core of forming the personality of modern young people
On the morning of May 14, 2025, at Hall 6M, Ton Duc Thang University, the Student Affairs Department organized a seminar on "Politeness - Core values of modern youth", attracting nearly 500 students to participate.

With the participation of prestigious guests such as MSc. Dr. Nguyen Lan Hai, MSc. Nguyen Hieu Tin, MSc. Trinh Phuong Thao, along with former student Tran Thi Kieu Anh, the topic opened up a space for close and profound exchanges, providing multi-dimensional perspectives on the value of politeness.

Politeness has long been considered a cultural norm in communication, through the lens of the program it has been reflected as a fundamental value, contributing to shaping personality, creating professionalism, and affirming the unique identity of TDTU youth. Not only the words "yes - sir - yes - sir", politeness is also expressed in an attitude of respect, knowing how to listen, correctness in behavior, and a spirit of learning in studying and working.
The topic is also an opportunity for students to review and practice the core values that have made the TDTU student brand: Discipline in behavior; Politeness in behavior; Professionalism in learning and working; Creativity in thinking; Serving the community through practical actions.
In the context of modern society increasingly emphasizing dynamism and integration, preserving and promoting the value of politeness is the way for young people to affirm themselves firmly and deeply - not only through knowledge but also through cultural depth and personality.
