Topic "Being Myself"

In order to help students identify and understand themselves to develop confidence and self-acceptance, thereby choosing a stable development path in the face of social impacts and pressures; At the same time, providing orientations to build a meaningful, balanced life and bring happy values, on October 4, 2024, the Student Affairs Department of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the topic "Being myself" at Hall 10F attracting more than 300 students to participate.
With the sharing of Dr. of Psychology To Nhi A, the topic brought students new and profound perspectives on the process of identifying and developing self-value. With a humorous but equally profound guidance, Ms. To Nhi A shared with students the meaning of being yourself. She helps you realize that each individual being able to live as themselves is not at all contradictory to complying with the common rules and regulations of the community, on the contrary, it will complement each other, so that each individual can both develop their own identity and live happily together. She also encourages and gives suggestions and guidance to help you participate in the journey of self-discovery, identifying personal identity and values. This is an important step for each person to understand themselves, thereby determining the most suitable development path, confidently expressing their own personality and welcoming new opportunities in life.
The seminar attracted great attention and interaction from students. Many questions were sent and were enthusiastically answered by Ms. To Nhi A, especially practical situations related to how to effectively handle pressure, maintain independence in thinking and action that students face every day. The topic “Being myself” was truly an opportunity for students of Ton Duc Thang University to explore, share and learn useful knowledge on the path of self-development, creating a complete and meaningful life.
