GenZ Ton Duc Thang University lives civilly on social networks
In the digital age, social networks have become an indispensable part of every student's life. From studying, searching for documents, connecting with friends, updating news to entertainment, social networks bring countless benefits. However, along with opportunities are not small challenges. How to use social networks safely, effectively and civilly is the problem for Gen Z, especially new students who are starting their new journey at Ton Duc Thang University.
On September 10, 2025, during the Citizenship - Student Activities Week of the 2025 - 2026 school year, Ton Duc Thang University organized a seminar on "Using social networks safely and effectively" for new students of Course 29.
Accompanying you in the seminar is Master Duong Trong Phuc - Vice Principal of Doan Ly Tu Trong School. With a friendly style, lively presentation and practical stories, the reporter brought a lot of practical knowledge, suitable for today's student life.

At the seminar, Master Duong Trong Phuc suggested to new students new and very necessary perspectives on using social networks: identifying official information, avoiding fake information; behaving civilly in cyberspace; knowing how to protect yourself, and at the same time showing respect to others when connecting online.

Every student can absolutely become a positive “trendsetter” if they know how to take advantage of social networks to share knowledge, spread the spirit of humanity, inspire learning and training. That is also the way the young generation affirms their role and responsibility in the digital society. It can be seen that Gen Z are not only “users” but also the generation that creates social networks. With the knowledge equipped and a sense of responsibility, the new students of Course 29 will become smart digital citizens, contributing to building a healthy and civilized online environment.

And more than that, when you know how to use social networks properly, you are contributing to affirming the image of a modern, dynamic young generation, true to the spirit and character of TDTU students.
