Talkshow: "Sex, a difficult thing to talk about"

On the afternoon of December 27, 2022, the Student Affairs Department, Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized a talkshow: "Sex, a difficult thing to talk about" with sharing from Specialist Doctor I, Tran Le Viet Thanh, Medical Director of Glink Vietnam System and Master Nguyen Khanh Chi, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Living Value Development Center.

With the desire to create an exchange, learning environment for students to understand knowledge about sexual safety, sexual abuse, health improvement and HIV/AIDS knowledge as well as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), the talk show attracted more than 300 students to attend.

At the talk show, Master Nguyen Khanh Chi shared knowledge about sexual harassment and the consequences of sexual abuse, which have very serious psychological effects. Next, Specialist Doctor I, Tran Le Viet Thanh, informed students about some diseases transmitted through unsafe sex and "speaking numbers" in 2022 about the incidence of HIV disease in Hochiminh City.

Attending the talk show, students actively interacted, asked questions and were enthusiastically answered through diverse perspectives from guests, with information and knowledge about sex provided at the event. The talk show helped students gain important information in protecting their own health.
